Job summary

Sodexo in Birmingham is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Cleaner on a fixed-term basis. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment, supporting meeting room set-ups, hospitality requests, porter duties and general facilities services.

You will deliver an outstanding experience for clients and visitors. Duties include maintaining high cleanliness standards, setting up rooms, completing tasks, reporting maintenance and safety concerns, following COSHH and company procedures,

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site.
• Set up meeting rooms and hospitality areas.
• Complete scheduled and reactive cleaning tasks.
• Carry out porter duties, including moving furniture and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and health & safety concerns.
• Follow COSHH, Health & Safety and company procedures.
• Keep cleaning equipment and storage areas clean and organised.
• Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues and visitors.
• Support the wider team and provide cover when required.
• Complete other reasonable duties as requested.

You'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting meeting room set-ups, hospitality requests, porter duties, and general facilities services.

You'll be an important part of delivering an outstanding experience for both our client and visitors.

What You'll Do

Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site.

Set up meeting rooms and hospitality areas.

Complete scheduled and reactive cleaning tasks.

Carry out porter duties, including moving furniture and equipment.

Report maintenance issues and health & safety concerns.

Follow COSHH, Health & Safety and company procedures.
