Job summary

Universities by Sodexo is seeking a Cleaning Operative at the University of Greenwich, Medway Campus in Chatham. The role supports keeping the site clean and hygienic with early shifts, Monday to Friday, for 15 hours per week.

You will use cleaning solutions appropriately, restock consumables, and uphold health and safety standards. Benefits include training and uniform provision.

What you'll do:

• Pay close attention to the details and complete the cleaning tasks on your scheduled list.
• Make sure the workplace's common areas, kitchens, and restrooms are spotless.
• Restock essentials and supplies such as hand gels and toilet paper
• Be a champion of health and safety practices

What you bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work quickly and adapt when circumstances change
• Be a team player and follow instruction
