Job summary

Leisure Solutions Community Trust is seeking a Cleaner to support a welcoming, safe leisure facility in Bletchley. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across the building and assist visitors and staff with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

The role is permanent, part-time (10 hours per week) at an hourly rate of £12.71, with shifts including evenings and weekends. Training, benefits, and pension options are provided by Serco on behalf of the Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleaning role or the ability to demonstrate the skills required to succeed in this position.
• Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Good awareness of health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building at all times.
• Carry out cleaning duties safely, following all health and safety procedures and COSHH requirements.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete all required checklists accurately.
• Report any cleaning issues, maintenance concerns, or areas requiring attention to the appropriate manager.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels and notify the line manager when replenishment is needed.
• Inspect, use, clean, and store cleaning equipment safely, while contributing to good housekeeping and sustainability practices.

As a Cleaner, you'll help create a welcoming environment where people can enjoy leisure activities safely and comfortably. Your work will directly support the wellbeing of local communities by maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility, helping visitors and employees feel confident, cared for, and proud of the spaces they use.

What you’ll do as a Cleaner

Location: Bletchley Leisure Centre, Fenny Stratford, MK2 2HQ

Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Permanent, Part-time, 10 hours per week, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 4.30pm to 6.30pm, Saturday 8.30am to 10.30am, Sunday 9.30am to 11.30am
