Vertas Group is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our Facilities Team at Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, DE22 1JD. This role is 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3.30pm–5.30pm, 43 weeks per year, with deep cleaning during half terms.

You will maintain high standards of cleanliness across classrooms and communal areas, clean toilets, wipe surfaces, hoover and mop floors, and support a safe environment.

Qualificações

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Enhanced DBS check is required - willing to obtain if not held.
• Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting.
• A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group.

About the Role:

Based at Saint Benedict Catholic Voluntary Academy, DE22 1JD, you will be working 10 Hours per week, Mon - Fri 3.30pm - 5.30pm, 43 weeks per year, so we will require holiday deep cleaning during half terms. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning toilets and washrooms
• Wiping down tables and surfaces
• General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
