Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaning Operative (6 months fixed term) at Chivas Brothers – Stirling Road, Dumbarton, G82 2SS. You will work 26 hours weekly at £13.45 per hour, with a flexible rota across morning and afternoon shifts. Training provided; prior cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of cleaning across the site, including offices and facilities.
• Carry out dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and washroom cleaning.
• Ensure areas are clean, hygienic and well-presented at all times.
• Proactively identify additional cleaning needs and respond to requests.
• Support periodic deep cleaning and specialist tasks.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas in a safe, organised condition.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Work with the team to deliver service excellence.

Shift Pattern (Flexible Rota)

This role operates on a rota basis, so shift times will vary week to week.

Shifts will fall within the following time windows:

• Morning shifts:
  Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
  Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
• Afternoon shifts:
  Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
  Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

You will be scheduled across these shift patterns depending on business needs, so flexibility is essential.
