Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaning Operative for a 6-month fixed-term assignment at Chivas Kilmalid, Dumbarton. The role is 26 hours per week at £13.45 per hour, with a flexible rota and varied shift times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of cleaning across the site, including offices, communal areas, and facilities.
• Carry out daily tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and washroom cleaning.
• Ensure all areas are clean, hygienic, and well-presented at all times.
• Proactively identify additional cleaning needs and respond to requests.
• Support periodic deep cleaning and specialist tasks.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas in a safe and organised condition.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Report defects, hazards, or incidents promptly.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver service excellence.

Shift Pattern (Flexible Rota)

This role operates on a rota basis, so shift times will vary week to week.

Shifts will fall within the following time windows:

• Morning shifts:
  Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
  Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
• Afternoon shifts:
  Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 8:00pm
  Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm

You will be scheduled across these shift patterns depending on business needs, so flexibility is essential.
