St Paul’s CofE Primary School in Bolton is seeking a Cleaner to join its facilities team. You will deliver cleaning services to the school according to an agreed specification and work in a safe, clean environment after school hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cleaning service per the agreed school specification.
• Keep cleaning equipment safe and report unsafe electrical equipment to the office.
• Store chemicals/consumables safely and ensure stock is managed.
• Order chemicals/ consumables via Cleaning Supervisor to maintain stock levels.
• Inform line management of problems affecting cleaning service delivery.
• Carry out any other duties as management may require.

DIRECTORATE: Forward as One Multi Academy Trust

REPORTING TO: Headteacher

GRADE: NJC 03 - £13.28 per hour

CONTRACT: Permanent

HOURS: All year round, 12.5 hours per week / 3:15pm - 5:45pm, Monday - Friday

PURPOSE OF POST: Assist in the provision of a clean and safe working environment for the school.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. To deliver a cleaning service against an agreed specification in the school.
2. To keep cleaning equipment in a safe and clean condition and to report any unsafe electrical equipment to the office immediately.
3. To store chemicals/consumables in a safe and secure place and to ensure efficient and effective usage.
4. To order chemicals/consumables as necessary either through the Cleaning Supervisor ensuring that stock levels do not fall to an unacceptable level.
5. To inform line management of problems actual or potential relating to delivery of cleaning service.
6. To promote customer relationship with on site clients.
7. To carry out any other duties as management may require.
