Job summary

Sodexo in Newbridge, near Edinburgh, is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and guests. You’ll perform a range of cleaning duties and contribute to high standards of cleanliness and service.

You’ll work with a focus on safety, COSHH guidelines, and professional hygiene, with shift timings that can be flexible (6:30am – 8:30am). Onsite parking is available, including EV charging facilities, and own transport is essential

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
• Good knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
• Methodical and organised approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleaning standards across all allocated areas, completing daily, weekly and periodic tasks efficiently and on time.
• Use cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals safely, following COSHH guidelines and only using equipment after appropriate training.
• Maintain a safe working environment by using appropriate safety signage and promptly reporting hazards, faulty equipment, accidents and other incidents.
• Keep cleaning stores and equipment clean, tidy and secure, ensuring supplies are monitored and low stock levels are reported.
• Maintain professional standards of personal hygiene and appearance, attend required training and meetings, provide cover when needed, and respond to reasonable management requests.

Sodexo is looking for a reliableand hardworking Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe andwelcoming environment. You’ll play an important role in ensuring all allocatedareas are cleaned and serviced to the high standards expected by both Sodexoand SFRS.
