Job summary

Southampton site is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the Sodexo team. You will work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 17:30 to 20:30, on a corporate client site.

What you'll do:

• Carry out scheduled and reactive cleaning across offices and communal areas.
• Keep meeting rooms, collaboration spaces and client-facing areas clean, tidy and ready for use.
• Clean desks, workstations, workplace equipment and high-contact surfaces in line with site procedures.
• Maintain kitchenettes, tea points, vending and break-out areas to excellent hygiene standards.
• Clean and maintain washrooms throughout the working day.
• Vacuum, mop and spot-clean floors as required.
• Empty waste and recycling bins and ensure waste is correctly segregated.
• Replenish soap, paper products and other workplace consumables.
• Complete periodic and deep-cleaning tasks when required.
• Monitor workplace standards throughout your shift and proactively address anything that needs attention.
• Support meeting room setups, furniture adjustments and general workplace housekeeping.
• Respond professionally and promptly to requests from colleagues, clients and building users.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly.
• Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety, Security and Environmental procedures.
• Report hazards, defects, incidents or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and support other workplace areas when required.
