A leading company is seeking a Cleaner to join their team on a permanent basis. The role involves part-time cleaning duties during term time, ensuring the school environment meets high standards. Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 15 hours per week, 41 weeks per year
Responsible to: Cleaner in Charge
Work Pattern: Monday to Thursday 3.30pm - 6.30pm, Fridays 3.10pm - 6.10pm. Term Time Only.
3 hours per day during term time. Term time 3 hr shift timings may vary between 3:30pm to 6:30pm hrs Monday to Thursday and 3:10pm to 6:10pm on Fridays.
Shared Responsibilities
Foster community links;
Liaise with THSP, service providers, schools and colleges;
Work to strengthen and enhance The Park Community School’s values and culture;
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Main Duties:
Individually or as part of a team, carry out cleaning duties that are necessary to meet the required standards of the School and Trust within a designated work area.
Assist in the moving of furniture and moveable fittings.
Ensure that the premises are made secure if requested.
Replenish consumables as required.
Take part in training where necessary to carry out your duties effectively.
Report any building/equipment defects to the Senior Caretaker.
Observe all health and safety requirements during the cleaning operation.
Carry out any similar duties as requested.
