Job description

Cleaner - Northgate High School

12.21 Per hour

Norse Cleaning Division works in partnership with a number of clients across East Anglia, providing a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.

We have a successful relationship with Northgate High School and are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part-time basis. You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 3.15 pm to 5.45 pm, on a 44-week contract.

The role

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out basic cleaning duties and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining designated areas - mopping, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and emptying bins.
  • Building relationships with on-site clients.
  • Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety protocols.
  • Reporting any issues or defects on site.
Our Successful Candidate

We prefer candidates with previous cleaning or caretaking experience, along with:

  • Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Confidence working independently and using your initiative.
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable.
