Job summary

Village Primary Academy is seeking an experienced teacher who demonstrates high standards of classroom practice and a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and pedagogy.

The role focuses on raising outcomes for vulnerable pupils, using robust assessment data to drive progress, and collaborating with teaching assistants and colleagues to support SEND learners while contributing to the Trust's Strategic Plan.

Qualifications

• Excellent classroom practitioner with evidence of improving outcomes for vulnerable pupils.
• Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum and pedagogy.
• Evidence of effective use of assessment and analysis to raise standards.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with teaching assistants and colleagues to maximise pupil outcomes.
• Support the trust's vision and priorities as outlined in the Strategic Plan.
• Support and develop the learning of SEND learners.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an excellent classroom practitionerwith evidence of improving outcomes particularly for those pupils are most vulnerable
• Have experience and a secure knowledge of the National Curriculum and Pedagogy
• Have evidence of the effective use of assessment and analysis in raising standards
• Be able to work effectively with teaching assistants and other colleagues to maximise pupil outcomes
• Have a commitment to work with others to carry the Trust's vision forward
• Have a commitment to supporting & developing the learning of SEND learners
• Support the Principal in delivering the trust priorities as outlined in the Trusts Strategic Plan
