Job summary

Hethersett Academy in Norfolk is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to provide high-quality supervision of classes during teacher absences and to support curriculum delivery.

The role is permanent and full-time (37 hours/week) across 40 weeks, starting December 2026 or January 2027. You will join a supportive school environment within Inspiration Trust, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Very good numeracy/literacy skills and GCSE C (or NVQ3) in Maths and English.
• Proficient use of technology to support teaching and learning.
• Experience teaching or supervising groups or whole classes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality supervision of classes to cover short-term absence of the regular teacher.
• Support general curriculum delivery and administration.
• Assist with resource development and procurement for curriculum/enrichment.
• Follow safeguarding policies to promote the welfare of pupils.
