Job summary

Thetford Academy, part of Inspiration Trust, is seeking a Cover Supervisor to provide class supervision when teachers are absent. You will support general curriculum delivery and administration, and help develop resources to enrich learning. A strong safeguarding approach is essential.

You will join a committed team, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive environment focused on student welfare and achievement.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at minimum grade C (or NVQ 3 equivalent).
• Proficient use of technology to support teaching and learning.
• Experience of teaching or supervising groups/classes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality supervision of classes to cover short-term absence of the regular teacher.
• Provide high quality general curriculum support including planning and administration.
• Procure and develop curriculum/enrichment resources as needed.
• Implement safeguarding policies and promote welfare of young people.
