Job summary

Lift Kingsley is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to keep learners engaged when the regular teacher is absent. You will lead lessons using prepared materials, support students with their work and help create a calm, focused classroom environment.

Applicants should have GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) and some background working with children or young people. You will be valued as a trusted adult who supports learning and behaviour in line with school policy.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) required.
• Background working with children or young people preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead lessons using pre-prepared materials and support students.
• Create a positive, orderly learning environment where students can focus.
• Support students with SEND to understand tasks and meet their goals.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress.
• Complete attendance registers and assist with supervision during breaks.
