• Position: Classroom Assistant
• Type of work: Support group and 1:1 learning, ensure pupil safety and welfare, small group work, reading, forest school activities, assist class teacher in delivering lessons
• Start Date: 06/01/2025
• Rate of pay: £95 – £120
• Hours: 08:30 – 16:00

Experience

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)
• Experience working in Primary Schools
• Experience with inclusive classroom practices
• Understanding of supporting SEND requirements
• Experience supporting learning with various strategies, both group and 1:1
• Driving license (not essential)

Eligibility Criteria

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one
• Two professional child-related references
