Allens Croft Primary School is a diverse, fully inclusive two-form entry school, with three resource base classes, set in extensive grounds in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham. We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic experienced teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2025. In addition to your teaching role, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead Mathematics within the school, helping to inspire a love for number and basic skills, problem solving, and analytical thinking across all year groups.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • has recent successful teaching experience
  • has experience of leading a subject area and can bring enthusiasm and a commitment to raising standards, particularly in Mathematics
  • has a passion for teaching and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • has excellent behaviour management skills
  • builds positive relationships and is a role model for the children they teach
  • flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards professional development for themselves and others
  • is able to work closely with, and values the contribution of parents/carers
  • supports the aspirational ethos of the school
