An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Class Teacher with responsibility for SEND to work at St George and St Teresa Catholic Primary School, part of Our Lady and All Saints MAC.

We are seeking a teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will:

  • Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.
  • Have a desire and a passion to work with young children.

As SENDco, the candidate will:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of the school's SEND strategy and policy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND records, including the SEND register, provision maps, and pupil profiles.
  • Coordinate and monitor the progress and outcomes of students with SEND.
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and external agencies to provide the best support for students.
  • Deliver training to staff on SEND issues and strategies.

As a Class Teacher, the candidate will:

  • Be creative and devoted to providing children with rich learning experiences.
  • Be an outstanding teacher.
  • Have excellent teaching, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Have good interpersonal skills, able to work effectively as a team member with colleagues, parents, and governors.
  • Be committed to developing the whole child.
  • Challenge pupils of all abilities and be committed to raising standards.
  • Have a strong commitment to their own learning and professional development.
