Job summary

Milton Mount Primary School in Pound Hill, Crawley, is seeking a motivated Class Teacher for maternity cover in Year 1, from November 2026. Applications welcomed from Early Career Teachers and experienced colleagues who inspire children to achieve their best.

The successful candidate will model inspirational practice, motivate both pupils and staff, and contribute to the wider life of the school within Greensand Multi Academy Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in Year 1 or primary year groups is desirable.
• Able to support children to be the best they can be with passion for education.

Job description

Milton Mount Primary School in Pound Hill, Crawley is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Class Teacher for a maternity cover (working in Year 1) to join our dedicated and hard working professionals from November 2026.

We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers who can demonstrate an ability to support our children to be the best that they can be, who have a passion for education, and from applicants with the drive and commitment to deliver outstanding learning.
