Job summary

Billingshurst Primary Academy is recruiting a Class Teacher for maternity cover, starting November 2026, on the Teachers Main Scale. The successful candidate will join a passionate team in a school that values engaging learning and strong progress for every child.

We welcome experienced teachers and ECTs, with in-class adult support and opportunities for professional development within an innovative academy trust environment.

Class Teacher Maternity Cover

Required November 2026

Billingshurst Primary Academy is committed to providing the highest quality learning for all children.We are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated Class Teacher from November 2026.The salary range is Teachers Main Scale.

In the event that this date changes due to an early or delayed return to work by the postholder you will be given 8 weeks notice

2. Is an experienced teacher who can foster excellent relationships with children.
3. Has a proven track record of enabling children to make strong progress.
