Teaching Personnel are working with a well-respected and loving primary school based in the heart of Salisbury, dedicated to providing a caring and inspiring environment where children can thrive. The school is proud of its inclusive ethos, strong values, and commitment to developing the whole child.

They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a close-knit staff who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality learning experiences that spark curiosity and foster independence.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of early childhood development
  • Builds strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Plans and delivers engaging and creative lessons
  • Has high expectations for all learners
  • Show effective classroom management, teaching and planning
  • Is able to monitor, assess, record and report

Other professional requirements:

  • QTS qualification and other relevant qualifications
  • Be willing to update and enhance theirskills through professional development
  • Uphold school policies and procedures
  • Have a valid enhanced child only DBS which is on the update service
