Job summary

Priestley Primary School, located in Calne, is seeking an experienced, dynamic maths leader to take on responsibility for teaching and learning in Maths across the school. The candidate will drive school improvement and inspire colleagues as part of a senior leadership team.

The role focuses on developing maths teaching, monitoring progress, and raising pupil achievement while modelling high standards of classroom practice and professional conduct across all year groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop Maths teaching across the school
• Raise standards of pupil attainment and achievement
• Support and develop the teaching practice of colleagues
• Monitor and evaluate curriculum impact and pupil progress
• Contribute to whole school strategic planning and improvement
• Model outstanding classroom practice and professional conduct
• Collaborate with colleagues on the Senior Leadership Team to drive school priorities and initiatives.
