Job summary

Leverington Primary Academy in Wisbech is seeking an exceptional Upper Key Stage 2 teacher committed to helping every child reach their fullest potential. You will have strong KS2 knowledge, experience with SATs preparation and a track record of securing strong pupil progress.

The successful candidate will contribute to driving school improvement, raising standards and securing excellent outcomes for all pupils, within a supportive leadership team and Diamond Learning Partnership Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience of teaching Upper Key Stage 2.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Proven track record of securing strong pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with recent experience of teaching in Upper Key Stage 2.
• Secure SATs preparation and transition to secondary school.
• Inspire pupils to achieve academically, socially and emotionally.
• Use assessment to identify gaps in learning and adapt teaching to ensure progress.
• Champion inclusive practice and consistently deliver high-quality teaching for every pupil.
• Demonstrate high expectations for achievement, presentation and behaviour.
• Act as a role model for colleagues and contribute to whole-school improvement.
• Work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, parents and the wider community to strengthen standards and outcomes.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and support our vision of providing the best education for every child.

Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional classroom practitioner with recent Upper Key Stage 2 experience, who is committed to ensuring every child achieves their fullest potential. We are looking for a teacher with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, experience of preparing pupils for the end of Key Stage 2 assessments and a proven track record of securing strong pupil progress and outcomes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate consistently high-quality teaching, high expectations of all pupils and a relentless commitment to raising standards. Working alongside our experienced and supportive leadership team, you will contribute to driving school improvement, enhancing teaching and learning and securing excellent outcomes for all pupils.

As an Upper Key Stage 2 teacher, you will:
