The post requires recent KS2 experience, strong assessment skills and a commitment to inclusive education that supports every child to achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 and securing strong pupil progress.
• Clear understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment requirements (SATs).
• Ability to inspire, challenge and motivate pupils to excel academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with recent Upper Key Stage 2 experience.
• Demonstrate high expectations for achievement, behaviour and attitudes to learning.
• Use assessment to identify gaps and adapt teaching to ensure strong progress.
• Collaborate with leaders, colleagues, parents and the wider community to raise standards.
