Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Year 4 Teacher (QTS required) for a Barnet primary school. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, starting ASAP. You will teach Year 4, focusing on reading, writing and maths, while preparing pupils for transition to upper KS2. You will use assessments to tailor learning and support SEND/EAL learners.

About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a Barnet primary school to find a confident Year 4 Teacher for October 2026, available on a full-time or part-time basis.

In Year 4, pupils continue to build on their learning across the KS2 National Curriculum, developing their knowledge, independence and confidence across the curriculum. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons, with a particular focus on reading, writing, mathematics and preparing pupils for the transition into upper Key Stage 2.

You will use assessment and pupil data to personalise learning, support pupils with SEND and EAL, and help children develop the independence, resilience and confidence they need for their next stage of education.
