Job summary

Riverwalk School in Bury St Edmunds is seeking an experienced teacher who is engaging and friendly, with a passion for improving outcomes for pupils with PMLD and SLD. You will help develop our curriculum and teaching skills while sustaining school improvement.

The Consortium Trust prioritises safeguarding; all successful applicants will undergo an enhanced DBS check and social media checks. Closing date: 9 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• Experience with pupils with PMLD/SLD is preferred.
• Be an engaging and proactive educator.

Riverwalk School are looking to appoint an experienced teacher who is engaging and friendly, with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for our pupils in the school with PMLD and SLD needs. You will support us to develop our curriculum and teaching skills further, ensuring that the momentum of school improvement is maintained.
