Job description

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional Teacher who can develop excellent relationships with children and is dedicated to enabling the highest standards of achievement for all our pupils. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing, and creative person who has high expectations and can enthuse and motivate children. The successful candidate will be committed to constantly refining their teaching craft, with support from colleagues. Oasis Academy New Oak is a primary academy in Hengrove [South Bristol], serving just over 200 young people. Our last Ofsted inspection in June 2022 judged us to be a ‘Good’ school with ‘Outstanding’ in Personal Development.

Children thrive in the nurturing culture at OA New Oak, which embraces inclusivity and values everyone for their individuality. Provision for pupils with high-level special educational needs is strong, including two specialist resource bases for children with autism and deaf learners.
