Job summary

Haxey C of E Primary Academy in Doncaster is seeking a Temporary Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave from 1 February 2027 to 31 August 2027. This role requires commitment, enthusiasm and a strong understanding of how children learn within a Church School context.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver a high-quality learning experience, build positive relationships with pupils and families, and contribute to ongoing school improvement across Infinity Academies Trust.

Qualifications

• Inspirational teacher with commitment and enthusiasm, demonstrating deep knowledge of how children learn.
• Confident in applying the National Curriculum and maintaining high behavioural standards.
• Able to engage pupils from diverse backgrounds in a Church School setting.

Haxey C of E Primary Academy is seeking a Temporary Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave from 1 February 2027 to 31 August 2027. Please note that the contract may end earlier if the substantive postholder returns, in which case one month’s notice will be given.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who will be committed, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of how children learn.
