GXO Logistics, Inc is hiring a full-time 7.5T Delivery Driver for the Home Delivery team in Warrington, WA2 7NT. You will work on a three-week rotating pattern delivering furniture to customer homes, with start times between 05:00 and 06:30.

The role requires a UK driving licence with 7.5T entitlement, a valid DQC and Tachograph Card, and DBS clearance. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic and vehicle legislation.
• Deliver and install furniture items, ensuring proper handling and some handballing.
• Collect and log product returns during deliveries.
• Complete tachographs in line with legal and company requirements.
• Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure vehicle and stock are securely stored.

Job description

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent 7.5T Delivery Driver, to join our Home Delivery team in Warrington, WA2 7NT.

You'll be working on a full time, permanent basis on a 3 week rotating shift pattern: Week 1, Monday to Thursday. Week 2, Wednesday to Saturday. Week 3, split Monday/Tuesday then Friday/Saturday (4 working days) contracted to work 48 hours per week, with the start time window between 05:00 and 06:30 you will be responsible for delivering products to customer homes.

All successful candidates will require a DBS clearance.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic and vehicle legislation
• Deliver and installing furniture items, ensuring all products are handled correctly, including some hand balling involved
• Collect and accurately log product returns during deliveries
• Complete tachographs in compliance with legal and company requirements
• Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are always properly secured

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category 7.5T entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
