Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Warrington is seeking a 2-person home delivery driver to join the team delivering kitchens and bathrooms for the Wickes contract. Typical starts 04:00–06:00, Tue–Sat, 45 hours per week, with DBS checks and ongoing development.

You will work on a modern fleet, aiming for excellent customer service and safe driving, with earnings around £37,358.74 per year plus KPI bonus and pension, in a structured development pathway.

• Digital Tachograph Card held.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• DBS check required.

Great opportunity for 7.5T drivers looking for a reliable role with a leading logistics company.

If you are a great driver who enjoys being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you to join our successful two-person home delivery team in Warrington, delivering kitchens and bathrooms on behalf of ourWickes contract at GXO.

Successful colleagues will have the opportunity to join our Class 2 Driver Development Programme, designed to help you gain your Category C (Class 2) Licence through a structured internal training pathway.

You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, starting between 04:00 and 06:00, on a shift pattern of Tuesday to Saturday.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Deliver kitchen and bathroom flat-pack products to customers' homes, including houses and flats
• Provide excellent face to face customer service to customer
• Drive company vehicles safely and professionally, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks before each shift and report defects immediately
• Work independently, using initiative to solve problems and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain high health and safety standards, including the reporting of accidents, incidents, and damage.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid and in-date C1 driving licence
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• A positive and flexible approach to work
• Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
