Job summary

Safetykleen in Southampton is seeking a road-based, full-time Field Service Technician to visit customers on a daily route, removing and exchanging non-hazardous, low-hazardous, and hazardous waste streams. You'll be supported by a local branch team and progress toward ADR licencing as you go.

The role offers Monday to Friday day shifts with a salary of £32,000, private healthcare from day one, a pension, and various wellbeing benefits as part of a comprehensive training and progression

Qualifications

• Must have a clean UK driving licence.
• Class 2 Drivers Licence required.
• Enjoy being out on the road meeting customers and building trusted relationships.
• Full training provided to support ADR licence progression.

Responsibilities

• Attend 9-11 site visits daily to remove and exchange waste streams (non-hazardous, low-hazardous, hazardous).
• Load and unload drums and containers from the vehicle.
• Meet customers across a range of industries and liaise with the Branch Manager to resolve needs.
• Use hand-held tablets and CRM to manage routes and workload.

Job Role

• Attending 9-11 site visits daily removing and exchanging, non, low and hazardous waste streams.

• Get to be out and about, meeting customers across a wide range of industries!
• Liaise with the Branch Manager and customers to solve customer requirements.
• Using hand-held tablets and CRM to manage your route and workload.

Seeking experience / skills:

• A clean UK Driving Licence.
• A Class 2 Drivers Licence Required.
• Someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers and building trusted relationships.
• Experience within the waste industry isn't necessary - full training given.
