Job summary
The Mick George Group is recruiting a Class 2 Trade Waste Driver to join our Great Billing site. You will collect and transport trade waste from businesses across East Anglia, playing a key part in our expanding trade waste division.
The role offers an hourly rate of £17, with potential earnings up to £44,200 annually for a 50-hour week. Regular shifts, occasional Saturdays, and a supportive family-run environment make this a strong career opportunity.
Qualifications
- Must have trade waste experience.
- Must hold a Category C (Class 2) driving license.
- Must possess a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Must hold a Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
Responsibilities
- Collect and transport trade waste to waste transfer stations.
- Load and unload bins using truck mechanism and ensure safe operation.
- Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle checks and report defects.
- Follow road safety rules and working time regulations.
- Secure loads to meet weight and safety requirements.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and deliver good customer service.
- Drive safely with good geographical knowledge.
- Support the team with ad-hoc duties as required.
