Job summary

QS Recruitment in Lincoln is seeking a Class 2 Tipper Driver to join a well-established company. You will operate a Class 2 tipper, deliver and collect materials to customer sites, and perform daily vehicle checks.

This temporary role offers weekday hours (06:30–16:30) with an hourly rate of £17.10, and up to 28 days holiday per year. Applicants must be 25+ with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card and a clean license.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must be 25 years of age or over for insurance purposes.
• No more than 3 penalty points for a minor driving offence.
• Previous tipper experience preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Delivering and collecting materials to and from customer sites.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring all deliveries comply with procedures and health & safety.
• Maintaining a professional attitude with customers and site personnel.
