Job summary

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Tipper Drivers to work with a well-established client in the Lincoln area. This temporary role offers regular weekday work, start times from 06:00, and typical 10–12 hour shifts.

You will be paid £16.17 per hour on PAYE Advanced with weekly pay every Friday; umbrella rates available on request. Tasks include safe operation, delivering and collecting materials, daily vehicle checks, and complying with site rules.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Own transport to travel to and from work (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and professionally
• Deliver and collect materials as instructed
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and complete all required paperwork
• Follow site rules and health & safety procedures
• Maintain good communication with the transport office and site personnel
