Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting for Class 2 tipper drivers to join a well-established client on an ongoing basis. This role offers consistent weekday work with full training to become a qualified tipper driver.

You will operate Class 2 tipper vehicles, deliver aggregates to construction sites, and work to tight schedules, with a typical 10-hour shift from 6:45am, Monday to Friday. The team provides local support and career development.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC and Digi Tacho Card.
• Class 2 licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
• Strong time-keeping and customer service skills.
• Previous tipper experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operating Class 2 tipper vehicles.
• Delivering aggregate materials to construction sites and quarries.
• Working to scheduled delivery times and health & safety standards.
• Monday to Friday with 6:45am starts.
• Average shift length of 10 hours.
