Job summary

Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Tipper Drivers in the Lincoln area for a temporary position with regular weekday work and consistent hours.

Shifts are up to 5 per week (Mon-Fri), start times from 06:00, typical shift 10–12 hours, and a guaranteed minimum 8 hours’ pay per shift. Weekly pay every Friday and £16.17 per hour flat rate are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card are required.
• Own transport to travel to and from work is preferred.
• Hi-vis clothing and safety boots are expected.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and professionally.
• Deliver and collect materials as instructed.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and complete paperwork.
• Follow site rules and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain good communication with transport office and site personnel.

• Up to 5 shifts per week (Monday to Friday)
• Start times from 06:00
• Typical shift length of 10–12 hours
• Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours’ pay per shift
• Weekly pay every Friday
• £16.17 per hour flat
• Engagement on PAYE Advanced
