Job summary

A leading logistics company is recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Tipper driver to support their operations in Hamilton. You will be responsible for timely deliveries while ensuring adherence to vehicle check sheets and safety protocols. Candidates must have a valid CPC and experience driving tipper vehicles.

Job description

Driver Hire Motherwell are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Tipper driver to work on a contract with one of our busy clients in Hamilton.

Duties include but not limited to;
- 0630 starts
- Working Monday to Friday
- Clock in & out
- Driving a HGV Tipper
- Using the weigh-in bridge at the beginning and end of shift
- Vehicle check sheets
- Dealing with building and construction sites
- Carrying out routes in a timely manner
- Deliveries throughout the central belt
- End of day duties including vehicle check sheets

Due to the nature of this role, you must have proven previous experience driving tipper vehicles. There may also be requirements for nightshift.

You must have;
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Good customer service
- Good area knowledge
- A valid CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on your licence*

Pay;
- £14.50p/h paid via traditional PAYE with holiday accrual.
- Option to include holiday accrual for an enhanced rate (PAYE)
- 28 days holidays on pro rata PAYE
- Weekly paid
- Pension contributions after qualifying period
