Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Class 2 Specialist Driver for our Normanton site. The role operates Monday to Friday with 06:00 starts, averaging an 8-hour shift, and offers a temp-to-perm path for the right candidate.

Role involves multi-drop deliveries in a two-person crew, handling a range of goods from Peloton bikes to Coca-Cola vending machines. Full training provided; opportunity for permanent progression.

Qualifications

• HGV2 licence and CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

We're looking for full-time, Class 2 Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Multidrop deliveries between customer sites, making collections when required as part of a two-man crew.
• This is a specialised contract so you will be delivering, setting up and collecting a range of goods from Peloton Bikes to Coca Cola vending machines. Full training will be provided.
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
• Using a hand held scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

What you need to succeed with our client:

• HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• A level of physical fitness will be required as you will be handling heavy goods.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude.
