Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) in Normanton (WF6) invites applicants for a Class 1 Trunking Driver. The role offers a steady Monday–Friday pattern with days starting at 3pm or 6am, delivering trunking runs and trailer swaps with modern vehicles.

You’ll need a valid LGV C+E licence, CPC and DIGI tachograph, and ideally 12 months driving experience. A clean licence (max 6 points) is required. Benefits include 28 days holiday pro rata, weekly pay, and access to Manpower Rewards.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI tachograph card.
• Ideally 12 months experience driving Class 1 HGVs.
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Completing drop and swap trailer runs between key UK locations: Normanton, Ferrybridge, Burton, Bradford, and back.
• Ensuring all loads are safely secured and compliant.
• Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles to FORS Gold standards.

Location: Normanton, WF6

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, starting from 3pm we also have days startign at 6am

Pay Rate: Days £15.96 and afters and nights £18.13 per hour
