Job summary

The Best Connection Warrington are recruiting Class 2 Refuse drivers on behalf of our client based in Widnes. You will drive the wagon to customer locations, collect bins and empty them into the wagon.

Starting hourly wage is £14.87 for a 40-hour week with start times from 05:00 to 14:30. Overtime paid at £22.31 per hour after 45 hours per week. The role offers an ongoing position with the potential to go temp to perm.

Qualifications

• C license with 2 years of experience.
• Experience driving 32-tonne wagons.
• Max 6 points on licence; 25+ age for insurance.

Job description

The Best Connection Warrington are recruiting Class 2 Refuse drivers on behalf of our client based in Widnes.

An opportunity has arisen to undertake a route collecting non-hazardous trade and commercial waste. The Driver will be responsible for driving the wagon to each customer location, collecting the bins and emptying them into the wagon.

Hourly wage is £14.87 for a 40 hour week- starting times from 05:00 to 14:30. Overtime will be paid at the rate of £22.31 per hour for anything over 45 hours per week.

*This job is an ongoing position with the opportunity to go temp to perm*

Requirements:

• C license with 2 years experience
• Experience driving 32 Tonne Wagons
• A maximum of no more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Must be 25+ (for insurance purposes)
