Extra Recruitment Drive Ltd in Swadlincote is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join a busy building supplies delivery operation. This full-time role offers early starts, consistent hours, and weekly pay with PAYE. Expect 45–50 hours per week on day shifts.

You will complete 3–8 deliveries per day to commercial customers across Derbyshire, ensuring loads are secured and paperwork is accurate. Essential: valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, minimum 1 year experience,

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.

• Minimum 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.
• Ratchet strapping experience essential.
• Strong level of English.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle on scheduled delivery routes.
• Deliver building supplies to customer sites and trade locations.
• Complete between 3-8 deliveries per day.
• Secure loads using ratchet straps and load restraint equipment.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensure safe and timely deliveries.
• Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations.
