Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for a well-established independent wholesaler in Quedgeley. This ad-hoc ongoing role starts around 05:00, Monday to Friday, at £14.50 per hour, with temp-to-perm prospects for the right candidate.

Experienced drivers or those newly qualified are welcome. Expect multi-drop deliveries, good customer service, and paperwork accuracy, with full uniform and PPE provided and 8-hour pay per shift.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence.
• CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 9 points for minor offences.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries (up to 5+ drops per day).
• Happy to drive both 7.5t & Class 2 vehicle as needed.
• No handball - Curtain side forklift on and off only.
• Delivering excellent customer service.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Keeping your vehicle clean and roadworthy.
