Job summary

Saffron Vantage Ltd. is seeking Class 2 HGV drivers for a full-time ongoing role in Huntingdonshire. Immediate starts are ideal, with around a 1 week notice period possible. Pay rate is £20.00 Umbrella PAYE.

The role is a refuse driver position, Monday to Friday, typically 06:00 until finish (usually 12:30–14:00). Drivers of all experience levels are welcome, with a requirement for basic English and knowledge of drivers hours/regulations. Drug and alcohol testing will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV licence holders welcome.
• Basic English (spoken and written) required.
• Knowledge of driver hours and regulations.
• Drug and alcohol testing will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Drive the HGV truck around Huntingdonshire.
• Assist loaders by handling loads when needed.
• Use a handheld device while the vehicle is stationary.

The Job:

Your role will be a Refuse driver.

You will be responsible for driving the HGV truck around Huntingdonshire, whilst a team of loaders, grab household waste and load it on to the back. You will sometimes be expected to get out and help load at times. You will also be required to use a handheld devise whilst the vehicle is stationary.

Monday-Friday

06:00-finish. Finish is usually between 12:30-14:00

Minimum 8 hours paid even for shorter shifts. Time and a Half after 8 Hours

The Driver:

Experienced or new pass Class 2 drivers welcome.

Basic knowledge of the English language both spoken and written

A good knowledge of drivers hours and regulations

Drug and alcohol test will take place.
