Job summary

Saffron Vantage Ltd. is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for a Temp To Perm role in Epping. Start date is ASAP. The role involves driving a Class 2 dustcart and includes a full day of paid induction, after which you’ll work independently.

Pay rates are £18 per hour Mon-Fri, £22 on Saturdays, and £14–£18 for van shifts, with a four-week rotating pattern and start times from early morning. Training and progression support are provided.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV licence – experienced drivers and newly qualified drivers welcome.
• Basic spoken and written English.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and regulations.
• Reliable, hardworking.

Pay Rates

• Monday–Friday: £18 per hour
• Saturday: £22 per hour
• Van shifts: £14–£18 per hour, depending on the shift

Shift Pattern

• The role operates on a four-week rotating shift pattern:

1. Week 1: Early shifts, Monday–Friday, 03:00–12:00.
2. Week 2: Early shifts, Monday–Saturday, 03:00–12:00, with Saturday paid at the enhanced rate.
3. Week 3: Late shifts, Tuesday–Friday. Mondays can be taken off or worked as a van shift at £14 per hour.
4. Week 4: Van rotation, with start times varying depending on the work available, usually around 05:30. Paid at £18 per hour.

The Role
