Job summary

SWIFT Temps Ltd in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced Class 2 LGV Driver to join the waste and recycling team supporting the local authority. This is an ongoing role offering a structured four-day week and steady work in the Wakefield area.

You will drive a refuse collection vehicle on assigned rounds, work with a team to collect domestic waste and recyclables, and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather while maintaining safety and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 (LGV) driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Previous refuse or recycling driving experience is desirable.

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:45am - 5:25pm (40 hours per week)
