Job summary

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Recycling Driver for a busy waste operation in Yate, with shifts starting early in the morning. The role combines driving with loading duties and will involve supporting the collection crew throughout the day.

Temp to perm opportunities are available. You will drive and load on Class 2 refuse/recycling vehicles, carry out daily vehicle checks, follow routes, maintain safety standards, and deliver strong customer service outdoors in all

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Comfortable undertaking loading duties.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

HGV CLASS 2 RECYCLING DRIVER

Yate

£18 per hour (Newly Qualified Drivers)

£22.00 per hour (Those with previous experience)

Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy waste and recycling operation based in Yate. This is a physically active role and candidates must be comfortable with both driving and loading duties. This is not a pure driving role. Drivers are expected to support the collection crew throughout the day and assist with waste and recycling collections where required.

The Role

Working as part of a collection team, you will be responsible for the safe collection of household and commercial waste and recycling materials across the local area. Duties include:

• Driving Class 2 refuse and recycling collection vehicles
• Assisting with loading duties throughout the shift
• Working alongside loaders and operational teams
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Following planned collection routes

Requirements
