Job summary

Wirral Metals Ltd is seeking a reliable Class 2 Hooklift Driver/Yard operative on a full-time basis. The role involves operating a Class 2 Hooklift vehicle, delivering and collecting skips, and maintaining a secure, compliant operation.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, complete paperwork, provide great customer service, and ensure loads are handled safely within a tidy yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Class 2 Hooklift vehicle safely and efficiently
• Delivering and collecting skips as required
• Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with regulations
• Completing relevant paperwork as required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Adhering to all health & safety procedures and company policies
• Loading/Unloading vehicles and ensuring materials are handled correctly
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard environment
