Recycling Lives Services in Preston invites applications for a Class 2 Driver role (hook loader experience preferred). You will operate mainly hook loaders for waste and recycling collections, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain accurate delivery and collection records.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph, with proven reliability and safety consciousness; knowledge of UK driving laws is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph.
• Experience with hook loaders.
• Good knowledge of UK driving laws and local areas.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles (hook loaders) for waste and recycling collections.
• Carry out safe loading/unloading and tipping of containers.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance reporting.
• Maintain accurate delivery and collection records.
• Represent the company professionally with customers and the public.
