Job summary

Enerveo, a leading UK highways electrical contractor, is recruiting a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join the team in the Swindon area. The role involves installing and maintaining street lighting equipment across the Cotswold area, operating a HIAB, and working outdoors on public highways.

The position is full-time, with a 8am–4pm schedule Monday to Friday, and a TIM bonus scheme on top of base pay. A UK driving licence, HGV Class 2, and related qualifications are required or desirable, with

Responsibilities

Base Location: Swindon SN3

Salary: From £26,711 to £28,091 depending on skills and experience and working hours - Time Incentive Management (TIM) Bonus Scheme, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday Friday 8am-4pm. Overtime there for those who want it

Could you be our next Lorry Driver/Class 2 Driver (HIAB) to join the team and drive this success forwards?

What will I be doing in this role?

Youll be working as part of a team undertaking the installation, maintenance and routine work for a full range of highway lighting apparatus including street lighting columns, lanterns, brackets, poles and signs across the Cotswold area. This is a physically demanding role which will involve you working outdoors and on public highways, where youll also hold responsibility for operating a HIAB.

In a typical day, you could expect to be;

• Installing and maintaining street lighting apparatus and furniture, this could be street lights, signposts or signs
• Ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public
• Working to strict safety guidelines and regulations

What do I need to be successful in the role?

• It would be a benefit if you have an electrical background
• We work in all weathers! So you need to be the type of person who is happy working outdoors all year round.
• We do need you to have a full UK Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locations
• An HGV Class 2 Licence
• An ALLMI course (The association of lorry loader manufacturers and importers)

Some of our nice to haves are;

• We would look for you to hold IPAF/PASMA working at heights training
• Completion of a G39 Electrical Safety in the planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of public lighting and other street furniture training Course

We can however support the right candidate to achieve any level of industry training/qualifications they may not have in the nice to have list
