Job summary

SRC Group is seeking a reliable HGV Tipper Driver to join our team in Great Dunmow. You will deliver products to customers, handle loading/unloading safely and maintain professional standards while representing SRC Group.

The role requires a Class 2 HGV licence with up to 6 points, a valid tachograph card and CPC, and a proactive, customer‑facing approach in a busy environment along with good knowledge of southeast road networks. Training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 2 HGV Licence with no more than 6 points.
• Must have an in-date Driver Tachograph Card & CPC.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to take instruction.
• Good working knowledge of southeast road networks; available to work in/out of London as required.

Responsibilities

• Safe vehicle loading & unloading/tipping of aggregates & waste.
• Conduct daily walk-around checks and record defects.
• Use driver defect App, electronic POD & Sat Nav.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in deliveries.
• Provide excellent customer service and present SRC Group professionally.
• Drive vehicle safely and report incidents or accidents.
• Follow highway code, environmental requirements, and company procedures.
• Operate a digital tachograph and comply with working time legislation.
• Keep the vehicle clean inside and out; manage contaminants as needed.
• Perform any other duty requested by the company.
• 2 weekly pay with bonus incentive.

We are looking to expand our team of tipper drivers in Great Dunmow.

• An Enthusiastic, positive, confident, committed driver who learns quickly & is happy working under pressure in a busy team environment.
• Must have a Class 2 HGV Licence with no more than 6 points.
• Must have an in-date Driver Tachograph Card & Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
• Needs to have strong communication skills, a willingness to take instruction, be cooperative & flexible & be confident enough to ask for help where needed.
• A driver with good working knowledge of southeast road networks, happy to work in & out of London as required.

Job Description:

HGV Tipper Driver, to operate vehicle in a safe & professional manner, delivering products to our customers, providing an excellent customer service.

• Safe vehicle loading & unloading/tipping of multiple aggregate & waste products
• Be able to conduct daily walk round check of the vehicle & record defects.
• Ability to use a driver defect App, electronic POD & Sat Nav
• Accuracy & attention to detail required.
• Carry out deliveries in a timely & safe manner & provide excellent customer service, have a clean smart appearance and represent SRC Group in a professional manor.
• Drive the vehicle safely, minimising damage, reporting any incidents or accidents.
• Work in accordance with the law, highway code, environmental requirements & adhering to all company procedures, standards & policies.
• Operate a digital tachograph & have a clear understanding of tachograph & working time legislation.
• Keep the vehicle clean both inside & out, removal of contaminant from inside the vehicle body as required.
• Perform any other duty required by the company.
• 2 weekly pay, Bonus incentive, Christmas shutdown.
